I enjoy combining my extraordinary communication skills with my passion for design to create design solutions that convey information or complex concepts in easily understood terms to provoke thought, stimulate action and produce results.
This site will introduce you to who I am, showcase some of my graphic design work, and help you get in touch with me.
Check out the video below which highlights some of my recent design work.
I’ve been interested in art and design ever since I was in elementary school. By the time I was in high school I was involved in multiple art classes ranging from fine art to commercial art, as well as graphics classes which involved prepress setup and producing multi-color projects on offset presses including a Multi 1250 and an AB Dick press whose model number escapes me.
After high school I pivoted from art and design in favor of developing a professional career in sales and account management. This lasted for several years until I rediscovered my passion for art and design when I became interested in learning how to build websites.
My interest in building websites coincided with changes in the macro business environment I worked in that ultimately forced me to re-evaluate my long term career plans. In doing so I chose to go back to school so I could start a new career as a Graphic Designer.
I went back to school in January 2015 as a student in the Graphic Design program at Specs Howard School of Media arts in Southfield MI. In this program I have received intensive training in the principles of graphic design along with hands on instruction in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, and Dreamweaver.
